Vier jaar na de zombie-uitbraak is Zuid-Korea overspoeld door zombies en in quarantaine gezet voor de rest van de wereld. Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won) en Min-Jung (Lee Jung-hyun) krijgen de missie om een verlaten vrachtwagen midden in Seoul binnen een tijdslimiet op te halen, om zo het schiereiland voor altijd te kunnen ontvluchten. Maar behalve de hordes zombies komen ze ook oog in oog te staan met een mysterieuze militaire groep, Unit 631, die hen in een hinderlaag lokt. Hun gewelddadige overlevingsstrijd begint!
